Academics at CCHS
At Campbell County High School, we are committed to providing our students with a challenging education to prepare them for their future. We encourage critical thinking and innovation to be implemented in our classrooms. We strive to meet the academic needs of our students through providing a wide range of courses. We challenge our students by offering 15 Advanced Placement/Honors courses, 7 advanced studies courses, and Dual Enrollment courses. CCHS prepares our students for their future career by offering a broad range of Career and Technical Education courses; that range from Welding, Cosmetology, Auto Mechanics, Agriculture, Carpentry, Criminal Justice, and Medical studies. We also place a deep emphasis on our JROTC program that is designed to challenge students both academically and physically.

Dual Enrollment at RSCC or PSCC

Campbell County High School gives students the option to earn college credits while in high school. To qualify for dual enrollment classes, Juniors and Seniors must meet minimum GPA and ACT requirements as set forth by Roane State Community College or Pellissippi State Community College. Students must also be able to pay for extra fees and books, but some limited financial aid is available. The Tennessee Lottery Scholarship allows $300 to be deducted from one college class per semester or $600 for two classes. Our school counselors can assist you with the required enrollment paperwork. Students mist provide their counselor with a copy of their college schedule and must submit their final college transcript to the counseling office two weeks before CCHS grades are due. Students are responsible to find out all information that is announced or distributed during the school day.
