English I
English l is an introduction to high school English. This course surveys various genres and types of writing with an emphasis on novel and short story studies. The course is writing-intensive and requires students to become fluent in persuasive, expository, and narrative writing. Students in English I will be required to take the TN READY Assessment Test.
